Everyone has a story worth understanding.
I don't believe people are broken.
I believe our thoughts, emotions, and behaviors usually make sense in the context of what we've experienced.
My role isn't to judge or "fix" you.
It's to understand your story, help you make sense of the patterns you've developed, and support you in creating new patterns that fit the life you want today.

About Me
My Approach
You are the expert on your own life.
You know your history, your relationships, and the places where you feel stuck.
My role is to bring clinical knowledge, curiosity, and another perspective so that together we can better understand what's happening and create meaningful change.

Compassionate and Productive
I believe counselling combines warmth with honesty. I listen carefully and compassionately, but I'll also gently challenge patterns that no longer serve you.

Different for every person.
Some clients come for a handful of sessions around a specific challenge. Others want longer-term support as they work through trauma, anxiety, burnout, or other concerns.

Holistic and Evidence-informed
I integrate a variety of therapeutic approaches based on your needs - mind, body, emotions, relationships, and culture all matter.

A safe, respectful space
You can show up exactly as you are. I take a down-to-earth and warm approach that gives you space to be your true, messy self.
My goal isn't simply to make you feel better in our sessions - it's to help you create lasting change that will improve your life.
Together we'll work at a pace that fits your goals, your nervous system, your finances, and your life.

My Story
After an early career in arts and media, alongside many years of meditation training, I was able to realize my lifelong dream of being a therapist. I wanted to help others, and I have always been fascinated with how people heal and grow in the midst of suffering.
For me, witnessing my clients as they learn to care for themselves well is deeply meaningful and rewarding.
Since completing my Masters' in Counselling, I've had the privilege of supporting clients in a range of settings, including a youth mental health centre, a transition society, and in private practice.
I've worked with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, burnout, and more. Over the years I've seen how healing happens when people feel truly heard and supported.
I am a mom to two wild and wonderful boys who keep me moving! When I'm not parenting, dancing, or painting, you can find me cuddled up with a tea and some trashy tv in the winter, and napping and reading on the beach in the summer.
